What is Gravellina
A gravel ride on rural roads, which in autumn are buzzy: the harvest is near, the apples are ripe. Farmers and winemakers have a lot of work to do (stop by and say “Hi!”).
A track to follow in a landscape where man and nature coexist in a mutually fruitful relationship, like the stones of the dry-stone-walls that support the heroic viticulture terracing. On the trail, with the Alps all around: villages, castles, churches and the Valtellina locals.
A lighthearted ride, with a few climbs that – actually – make your heart race. The surface is a fun mix of dirt and paved roads, some singletrack and a few sections on asphalt.
A weekend in Valtellina: you, your bike, a sferzate of butter and a glass of wine to cheer with many new friends.

Gravellina is also for those who don’t (yet) have a gravel bike: Parco Bartesaghi, a fresh, green area on the Adda river, is the place to listen to music, dance, play, and posà (from the Valtellinese dictionary: to take a break, a pause, more or less long, that interrupts the continuity of an activity, and spec. of a fatigue).
